SO SAD

     This is a look back at 4 American car brands that were once a thriving part of the Detroit big 3. Choosing the model year 1972, the below models could be found in showrooms from AMC (axed in 1987/88), Plymouth (bit the dust in 2000), Oldsmobile (sadly killed off in 2004), & finally Pontiac (who rolled their last cars down the assembly line in 2009/10).
Pictured after these gems, are what feeble products each were struggling to sell during their final hey days as a brand. To go from once offering as many as 8 or 9 models in your product line-up to barely producing 3 means something went seriously wrong somewhere within the parent company & for many years more than likely. However, by the time somebody stood up & said "hey this isn't working" each of these household names were bleeding money so bad it became a case of too little too late. First, we start with AMC 1972/1987 & Plymouth 1972/2000...

  3. LOL @ the Plymouth Breeze...boy if that didnt just SCREAM..."WE'RE GOING DOWN IN FLAMES" I dont know what car did!
